Tertiary Treatment - Nitrogen, Phosphorus Removal
Tertiary treatment technologies can be extensions of the biological treatment process to further stabilize oxygen-demanding substances in wastewater, or to remove nitrogen and phosphorus. Activated carbon is a material mostly derived from charcoal. Activated carbon is very effective in air and water purification applications, as well as precious metal recovery or removal.

Reverse osmosis (RO) is the best alternative for high volume/high quality water treatment. Ultrafiltration (UF) produces a high quality effluent, devoid of nearly all TSS (Total Suspended Solids), FOG (Fat Oil and Grease) and other contaminants such as Dissolved Metals. UF is used in a wide variety of applications, including wastewater treatment, industrial water, and the production of potable water from brackish water or sea water.
